“Man, the homework amount here is just as bad at my old school.”
“If you put your mind to it, Xiaoyu...You can finish it before you could believe it.”
“I like your way of looking at things positively.”
“Well, thank you.”
“For an A.I that is.”
“Right.”
Both girls get into their homework and help each other out but know that they have to do their homework in their own way with pen or pencil.
At that moment, in the school grounds, Alex Choi was in his nice and quite dashing casual clothes. He wore a brown leather jacket, a black and purple colour long T-shirt beneath and dark blue jeans complete with gray boots. He was also carrying a camera case with his Nikon 560 digital camera inside with a filter and the digital camera itself was equipped with a 235 mm lens that is much more expensive than the other ones whom were equip with 135 mm or less. He heads out to the main gate where Maxi was there as he at the moment was on gate duty.
“Hey, senior.”
“Alex, you going to do your thing?”
“Yeah, I am going to head over to the other side.”
“Well, best be careful...And remember don’t come back late. We all don’t want to see one of the 32 rainbow dancers missing from the show.”
“I will bear that in mind.”
Alex then heads out of the school’s main gate as Maxi calls after him.
“Just um...Out of interest.”
“Yeah?” asked Alex turning his head looking at Maxi in the eye as Maxi himself strolls over to where he was.
“Where are you going and what things would you be taking on camera?”
“Well, I will be over the plateau at Sydney Observatory that looks at the bridge from the south side and probably head down below to where Walsh Bay is.”
“Oh, Dawes Point and where the Wharf Restaurant is, right?”
“Yeah...I remember it was an even number pier. Two, four...”
“Four.”
“You know its on Pier 4?”
“That’s right.”
“I didn’t know that.”
“Well, I have been once or twice with Hilde.”
“A little unusual for you share your private life, senior.”
“Well, let’s face it...I am a person and you seem trustworthy.”
“Don’t worry...I will never spill the beans.”
“Good.”
“Except maybe Shirley.”
Alex looked a little uncomfortable when he said Shirley’s name and Maxi no doubt knows all too well what Shirley is capable of by finding the big scoop.
“Of course...You let me worry about her.”
“Anyway, I better get going.”
“Remember, the show starts at 2000 sharp so be back at about...”
“Half past seven...I know, senior.”
“And while you are there at the Wharf Restaurant take some photos of the food and the manager there.”
“The manager?”
“Yeah, we are quite good blossom friends.”
“Very well...I will send your regards to him.”
“That would be good...Thanks, Alex. Remember, watch yourself. It’s dog and wolf territory out there.”
“You know me, senior...If the wolves are onto me then I lure them straight to where the dogs and vice versa.”
“Good on you...Later.”
Alex Choi therefore heads out of the school grounds and quickly heads to the bridge walk stairs were as he makes his way up to the walkway that would take him straight along the pedestrian path of the Sydney Harbour Bridge itself. Alex uses the camera to take some photos of the bridge walkway and afterwards moves onward strolling casually across the bridge itself seeing many cars, taxis, buses and trucks moving back and forward to and from the Sydney CBD.
“Such a busy bridge this is...Nearly 80 years since this bridge was built.”
Sure enough, Alex makes it to the other side of the bridge and stood on the plateau that overlook the Port Jackson Harbour from the Sydney Observatory area.
“Right, the photos of the Harbour Bridge and the landscape behind it.”
Alex first turns on his expensive digital Nikon band camera and afterwards he adjusts his digital camera’s functions from ‘M’ Manual adjustment to the ‘Landscape’ setting. He then adjusts slightly on the Aperture and then the shutter speed and also not to the flash setting. Once he has done all of that he does is adjust the lens of the camera to make sure his picture would be quite focused and not in a blur.
“Perfect.”
Alex then presses the button that was on the top right side of the camera right over the on/off switch. Once he hears the camera shutter he checks his taken photo on his LCD screen to see if he was quite satisfy with it.
“Hmm...Not bad. Not bad at all. Maybe I will try taking another one.”
Like any professional photographer, Alex was not entirely pleased with his first photo and tries to take another and he this time adjusts a different ISO from ISO 600 to 1000, the White Balance from the Auto function to the ‘Sunlight’ function.
“There...Let’s give this a try. Maybe I should also change the Aperture as well.”
Alex did just that and he again takes the photo and this time it produce quite a different result and he was quite pleased with it.
“Quite the same but I like this one...One thing I know is experimenting with the settings of the camera can be quite fun and amusing.”
After that, Alex proceeds to take photos of the Sydney Observatory and then the Milson’s Point area and Luna Park. He decides then it was time to go down to Dawes Point and make his way to the Wharf Restaurant at Pier 4 near Walsh Bay. The only way to do that is to head down to the streets below and he takes Watson Street then Kent Street and follows Argyle Street where he finally strolls along Hickson Road to get to his destination.
“Gee...This place hasn’t change one bit since the last time I was here with Andy and Michael.”
Alex heads straight for Pier 4 and eventually finds the Wharf Restaurant as it was just about to open and the manager catches sight of Alex. He was an old man with a baldhead, some white hair and was wearing a white business long sleeve shirt, black trousers and shiny shoes with a pen tucked on his left ear.
“Hey.”
“Well, if it isn’t young Alex Choi.”
“You remember me?”
“Of course, I do...You haven’t change much.”
“Well, take that as a nice compliment.”
“You should.”
“So, your name is um...It’s Spencer, yes?”
“That’s right. I am glad you remember me.”
“I should...So, how are you finding Sydney anyway compare to the time you were at Hawaii?”
“I say this place is quite good...Not too hot. I do miss Hawaii sometimes.”
Spencer Hale was a Battle Frontier Brian in the Pokemon trainer Battle Frontier tournament on Oahu Island and eventually seeks retirement and uses his connections with friends of his and manages to open up a nice cozy dinner restaurant called: ‘Hawaiian Harbour’. He eventually decided to head to Sydney for a new start some years ago and wanted to seek a new change of life and literally like Sydney as much as he did when he was in Hawaii.
“I know...You’ve just opened?”
“Yeah, very soon there will be quite a number of customers coming in.”
“You don’t mind if I take a few photos of the place?”
“Of course not...But are you doing an article of some sort?”
“Not really...I just take the photographs and do something good to them and they get displayed on the computers or something.”
“I see...It may be a good idea for you to come back a little later when there’s people.”
“I reckon so...I might do a walk to where ‘The Rocks’ are and come back a little later.”
“Right.”
Alex therefore makes his way out of the restaurant and follows the Hickson Road and then George Street. He finally arrives at the populated area known as ‘The Rocks’ where a lot of people and commuters hang about and quite a tourist attraction. Alex decides to take photos of the hotels, restaurants, Cadman’s Cottage, the Opera House and Circular Quay. For each of his photos he either used a landscape setting or the Manual setting as he likes to experiment with different shutter speeds and apertures. He takes more than two photos of each sight and compares to which ones he likes the best. Alex then checks his watch as the time was now close to quarter to six.
“Hmm...I think I would head back to the restaurant and see if there’s any customers.”
Sure enough, Alex makes the slight long trek back to Wharf Restaurant and when he got back he found quite a number of customers already enjoying the well made food. Spencer once again welcomes Alex and offers him a table.
“Welcome, Alex.”
“Yes, I see we have customers.”
“Well, I think we will get quite a lot of them...Especially on a Friday night.”
“Then I think I will get started.”
“Be my guest, lad...Anyway, I told them to expect you so they won’t mind at all.”
“That’s good to know.”
Alex wastes no time and gets photo snapping of the customers, the food served, the interior of the restaurant and the manager himself. Alex then looks at his watch and reckons maybe it was time to head back to the school grounds as he has an important appointment to keep with his fellow friends and classmates.
“Well, I guess I better dash.”
“Already? It’s only six o’clock.”
“I know...I just need some rest and be refreshed for tonight.”
“Tonight? Ah, now I remember...The Spirited 32 rainbow dancers show.”
“Correct.”
The reason that the dance show pamphlets get handed to certain V.I.P people beside students and teachers of the school and one was Spencer and another was Z.W.E.I, the police commissioner.
“You got our pamphlet?”
“I sure did...At eight o’clock tonight, right?”
“Yes.”
“I will be there a little around that and have to leave someone here to mind the place.”
“Of course...I look forward to see you there.”
“Later, young man.”
Alex heads out of the restaurant as the customers also bids him farewell and once he made it outside he saw a bunch of people heading straight towards him. Alex could make out who was the man leading them, the gangster with a Korean background, Hwoarang who was wearing a dark purple business suit with a black business shirt underneath and wore some high class black leather shoes. All his men wore simple punk-like outfits, dark blue jackets, jeans and T-shirts and certain black and white sneakers. Some of the thugs were armed with baseball bats and metal rods.
“Oh no.”
Alex apparently has beat Hwoarang in a fight one on one and ever since then Hwoarang has bear a grudge against him and will do whatever it takes to return the favour. Hwoarang eventually sees Alex and he quickly bears a venomous smile on his face.
“Aha...boys, guess who is standing right before us.”
“Yeah, boss...We will get him.”
“Yeah, beat him up and tear him limb from limb.”
“Okay, boys...I want the pleasure to knock him down myself.”
“Okay, boss.”
“Whatever you say.”
“HEY! Alex Choi! How are you, you little smarty pants?”
“The feeling’s mutual, Hwoarang.”
“Right...You know I never could find you alone and you are often with someone else.”
“Well, sometimes on occasion I venture out alone to take some photos.”
“Right, I see...Well then sure we get straight to it?”
“If you say so.”
Alex then puts his digital camera back in his camera bag and puts it gently on the ground as Spencer comes to see what was all the commotion.
“What’s going on?”
“Hey, Spencer...Just a little warm up match with Hwoarang here.”
“Ah, I see...Well, be careful, lad.”
“I sure will...Could you hold this camera bag for me?”
“Of course...I am not surprise that they have come again.”
“You ain’t?”
“They have a fair few times in the past week or so to collect their fee.”
“I see...Well, I ain’t going to let that happen.”
“I know you would, lad...If you get rid of them then I will allow you and your friends to eat here for free.”
“Really? That’s quite kind of you, Spencer.”
“Make sure you call me before hand first.”
“I will.”
“HEY! HEY! Can’t we cut the chitchat and get straight into fighting?!”
“Okay, okay...Hold your horses. Let us get fighting.”
“Good...Very good.”
Hwoarang then cracks his fist knuckles and gets ready for a fight and instead of him going forward he orders his guys to take Alex.
“Boys! Melt him!”
“Aye, boss!”
Therefore, Hwoarang’s thugs charge forward but Alex was more than ready for them as he blocks his first two opponent’s blows with their metal rods and performs a counter attack and knocks aside them both. Afterwards, Alex kicks another thug in the chest that temporary stuns the thug and uses a Wu Shu technique to knock him flat on the ground. The remaining five thugs attack Alex at the same time as Alex dodges and leaps from side to side but gets nailed in the shoulder and his left knee.
“Ow...Ugh.”
“Ha ha...You like that? Continue to give him the works, boys!”
“Aye, boss!”
Alex had to somehow find some place for him to the higher ground as he leaps onto the almost deserted Hickson Road whereas there weren’t any cars coming and going. Alex eventually finds some higher ground and climbs on top of a car as one of the thugs leaps up on the car as well.
“Dodge this, sucker!”
The thug makes a fast swing with his baseball bat at Alex who ducks down and uses a Wing Chun move and nabs his melee weapon. The thug was astounded and Alex promptly seizes the chance and whacks the thug in the head knocking him spark out.
“One down and many more to go.”
Alex then leaps down from the car and combat the remaining of Hwoarang’s thugs as one by one they fall before his might. Hwoarang watches and was downright furious that one young boy could get the better of his men.
“Damn you, boys...How could you let one young punk get the best of you?”
“Hey, Hwoarang...Where did you get these guys of yours from? From the garbage disposal?”
“Silence, punk! I will challenge you myself!”
“I am ready.”
“No weapons.”
“Very well.”
Alex therefore tosses the baseball bat in his hand away as he then strolls straight to where Hwoarang was and Hwoarang does the same with both standing within ten feet of each other. Alex gets into his Wu Shu stance and Hwoarang gets into his Korean takwendo stance with both opponents staring right into each other’s determined and serious eyes.
“Scare, Alex Choi?”
“You wish, Hwoarang.”
“I will go first! TAKE THIS!”
Hwoarang quickly unleashes his combo takwendo kicks as Alex manages to with little difficulty blocks his blows as Hwoarang continues the attack hoping that one of his attacks would get through but he thought wrong.
“Grrr...You are a slick one.”
“I sure am.”
“Well, punk...Try this!”
Hwoarang then raises his left leg high as certain chi energy begins to sparkle meaning he was about to perform a powerful and unblockable attack.
“Try and block this.”
Alex manages to evade the attack but barely as the impact of the blow left the footpath pavement a shattered hole or crater of some kind.
“Well, that wasn’t quite bad.”
“Oh, I will try again then...At first, if you don’t succeed. Try and try again.”
Hwoarang tries to unleash the same powerful attack before as Alex this time had a trick up his sleeve.
“Got you now.”
Hwoarang unaware of Alex’s trick proceeds to crush him with his powerful left leg as he gloats upon striking down the powerful blow.
“Ha ha! I bet that’s going to leave a mark.”
Alex eventually catches the blow with his bare hands, which astounds Hwoarang as how could he have done that.
“What the...”
Without wasting time, Alex pushes Hwoarang’s leg back towards making him stumble backwards and while he was off his guard Alex promptly moves in elbows Hwoarang right in the face and the cause of the blow left Hwoarang with a bleeding nose.
“So, I will bet that’s going to leave a mark.”
Alex mocks Hwoarang of what he had just said a minute ago and Hwoarang was downright furious to the bone as he wipes the blood from his nose.
“No one mocks me and gets away with it!”
“Careful now...You might pop a blood vessel.”
“Shut your yapping!”
Hwoarang furiously continues with his combo kick assault and although Alex was able to block his blows with relative ease it made him take a few steps back. However, Hwoarang still had some trick up his sleeve as he pretends launch his powerful leg attack as Alex prepares to counter it but Hwoarang switches to his right leg and slams it squarely in Alex’s chest.
“Ow.”
“Ha ha...Fool you didn’t I?”
“I might have known.”
“Take this!”
Hwoarang uses his right leg and throws Alex from one side to the other as Hwoarang continues his assault and attempts to stomp Alex on the chest with his left foot. Alex manages to evade the attack by rolling aside and manages to get back on his two feet. Hwoarang lunges another kick at Alex and made him fall back on the ground.
“Ha ha...Not so tough now, hey?”
Hwoarang goes to finish him off but however Alex was not going to go down that easily as he strikes a kick at his right shin that made him stumped.
“Grrr!”
Alex leaps back on his feet and quickly lunges another kick at Hwoarang this time sending him down to the ground still feeling some pain on his right shin.
“Damn you, Alex Choi! Damn you.”
“Had enough?”
“Not really!”
Hwoarang leaps back on his feet and gets back into his fighting stance and Alex gets back into his as Alex and Hwoarang exchange hand blows with one another and afterwards they exchange kicks against one another. The match went for at least half an hour with no victor being decided and in the end both Alex and Hwoarang struck their strongest blow and kick at each other. The impact of their blows made both opponents fly back from a certain distance and feeling quite painful in their chest and stomach.
“Wow...That was quite a blow.”
Hwoarang winces at his chest with him rubbing it but fortunately for him none of his ribs were cracked. Alex meanwhile was taking some deep breaths as he tries to take it easy by rubbing his aching stomach.
“Man, that was painful.”
“Well, I think I am going to call this a...”
“A draw?”
“Never! I will never call this a draw! BOYS!”
Hwoarang’s thugs have recovered and were all cracking their knuckles and looking all very anxious in the face.
“Boys, time for round two.”
“Yeah, boss!”
“We are pumped!”
“Okay, that’s my cue to leave.”
“Here, lad.”
Spencer throws Alex back his camera bag and puts it right over his shoulder.
“Thanks.”
“Take care of yourself.”
Alex then waves goodbye to Spencer and eventually makes a run for it but instead of running down south instead, he runs north and right into Hwoarang and his band of hoodlums.
“What’s the big idea?”
Hwoarang was astounded and Alex jumps right over them and continues to run as fast as he could. Hwoarang of course would not let him get away that easily and orders his thugs to give chase.
“Don’t stand there, you idiots! After him!”
“Let’s go!”
Therefore, Hwoarang his band of thugs give chase as they ran up Hickson Road and eventually Alex decides to head straight back to the district of ‘The Rocks’ by cutting through Windmill Street. Sure enough, he gets back onto George Street and incidentally he does everything possible to make sure Hwoarang and his guys were right behind him because he as so happens to have a trick up his sleeve.
“Come on now...I hate for you to lose sight of me.”
“Boss, there he is...He’s eventually waiting for us.”
“Ha! That idiot! He’s only allowing us to catch up with him.”
Alex runs down George Street pass through many people and commuters as Hwoarang and his guys pushes through the people too making them feel very displeased with their reckless and irrational behaviour.
“Alex Choi! You ain’t getting away!”
“Well, that’s what you think.”
Alex could see the destination he wanted to go and it was eventually none other than Cadman’s Cottage as at that very moment, Bryan Fury and a few of his biker thugs were just coming out from inspecting their property, which no doubt was under their protection.
“Well, the place sure remains legit.”
“Bryan, boss...Why don’t we just knock the place down and build something else on top of it. We have the power to do that.”
“No...That is a heritage site and Paul would not like it.”
“Why?”
“Because he is quite fond of heritage sites himself and he and the lord mayor of the city are good partners.”
“I see.”
“Look, Bryan...There’s a big commotion heading our way.”
“I see it.”
Bryan then uses his cybernetic eyes and vision to see and he catches sight of Alex Choi running from somebody.
“Well, Alex Choi...What in blazes bring you here? And who might be chasing you...”began Bryan as he zooms in on the people that was literally none other than their rival gang led by Hwoarang himself.
“Well, well, well...Hwoarang. Guess you have run right into a hornet’s nest.”
“Boss, what is it?”
“Hwoarang and his guys are coming our away and they are chasing Alex Choi.”
“So, what shall we do? Do we go over the kid and Hwoarang?”
“Not exactly...We shall only go after Hwoarang. That boy has no grudge with us so we might as well help him out.”
“You are the boss, Bryan.”
“Let’s get those pack of wolves.”
“Right...Follow me! Let’s cross the borderline.”
Alex meanwhile could see that Bryan Fury and a couple of his bikies were moving towards him but much to his surprise they did not pay any attention to him and instead Bryan addresses Hwoarang who comes to a halt with his men.
“Hwoarang...How are you, buddy?”
“Bryan Fury...How is my mutual cyborg friend?”
“The feeling’s um...Mutual.”
“Indeed.”
Alex just keeps on running and glances back just once to see that Hwoarang and Bryan Fury were confronting each other. He stops for a moment to wipe the sweat off his forehead.
“Well, I guess this is my lucky day...And luring the wolves to the dogs is indeed a good idea. Now I can get out of here home free.”
Alex sprints straight to the Harbour Bridge Pedestrian walkway on Cumberland Street as at that very moment, Hwoarang and his guys were confronting Bryan Fury and his bikies looking at each other squarely in the eyes.
“Let’s do this...Let’s show them what the Hwoarang Boys can do!”
“Boys, let’s show them what the ‘G.F.H’ biker gangsters are really made of!”
“Come on, cyborg...Let’s see what you can do.”
“I will show you.”
At that moment, back at the school in the sports facility building, Sophie once again was doing some swimming training as to her it not only keeps her fit but it is something she likes to do in her spare time. This time, Shirley and Patricia were also there in the swimming costumes with Shirley wearing her school issued dark blue swimsuit as she kind of likes that colour but what she really likes to be in when she’s swimming was in her orange coloured bikini. She feels most comfortable in it and she likes to look erotic and sexy. Patricia meanwhile was in the same coloured school issued black swimsuit and wore a pair of swimming goggles but her ones were brought at a ‘Speedo’ sports retail store. The three good friends were all doing some training of their own as they have a big show on tonight and quite possibly they have to be fit and apt for it.
“Say, Pat.”
“Yes, Shirley?”
Both girls were getting out of the pool using the silver ladders taking a minute breather while Sophie continues to swim in the pool.
“How are things with you and Michael?”
“We are fine...I notice that you were hanging out with Simon just after homeroom today.”
“Well, he said he wants to take me out on a date during the weekend.”
“He did?”
“Oh, yeah.”
“And you were thrilled with joy?”
“I was indeed...He really is a kind man.”
“Well, I am happy for you.”
“Thanks, Pat...And I for you and Michael.”
“Thanks.”
“So, let’s go and swim another 100 metres then.”
“You are on, Shirley.”
“And the loser has to do fifty sit ups.”
“That’s all?”
“That’s all.”
“Okay, let’s go.”
Therefore, both Shirley and Patricia head straight to the deep end and they individually stood on one of the diving boards as Sophie takes a breather in the lane beside them.
“Having a race, are we?”
“We sure are, Sophie.”
“Yeah, care to join in?”
“Well, what’s the bet.”
“Bet is um...”
“Fifty sit ups.”
“Fifty sit ups, Patricia?”
“It is.”
“Very well...I am in.”
“Right.”
“But to make it fair.”
“I will need to dive in from the diving board like you guys.”
“How clever of you, Sophie.”
“Give me a moment.”
Sophie climbs out of the water and hops on the diving board and gets into the diving position much like Shirley and Patricia.
“Okay, one, two and three!”
All three girls dives in the pool at the same time and swim in freestyle stroke and who would be the victor remains a mystery as all three are strong girls with great stamina and strength.
At that moment, a pair of young men comes in the sports facility and they notice three girls were having a free swim at the pool. It was Samuel Wong and Kevin Lam and both in their boys’ sports uniform with a tracksuit that they wear over the top.
“Look, Kevin...Isn’t that Sophie, Shirley and um...”
“Patricia, Sam.”
“Right.”
“So, you are a little anxious for tonight?”
“A bit...I think doing some work outs at the gym would calm my nerves a bit, Kevin.”
“So would I.”
“Come on, let’s get started then.”
Both Samuel and Kevin make their way into the gym and put their sport bags takes off their tracksuit top and bottom revealing their sports attire. A white polo shirt top with the school’s logo imprinted at the front and a pair of black middle long shorts completed with white socks and sneakers.
“I wonder how well will this show can tonight?”
“I have no doubt it will go well, Kevin.”
“So do I, Sam.”
“Say, Kevin...Do you like our new homeroom teacher?”
“That would be a little hard to say...I mean I know who he is.”
“Me too...But from what we saw this morning, I think things will be all right.”
“Well, Sam...I hope you are right.”
“Me too...Come on, let’s get working out.”
Kevin uses the treadmill to get himself warmed up while Samuel was using the exercise bike. Both used them for warm ups before they move onto other exercise machines and equipment.
“So, I wonder at this very minute what Joey is doing?”
“Well, I feel the same for Kathy as well.”
“I will bet they are working out upstairs in the dojos.”
“You think so?”
“Not really.”
“Well, they could be doing some kind of sports to warm themselves up and be fit for tonight.”
At that moment, both Joey Houston and Kathy Taylor were having a workout together on the 6th floor in one of the dojos of the same sports building that Sophie, Shirley, Patricia, Samuel and Kevin are in. The two girls were having a friendly spar with one another and wore their girls’ P.E sports uniform.
“You pumped for tonight, Joey?”
“How about you?”
“I don’t know.”
“Well, just be ourselves and everything will do just fine, Kathy.”
“I hope so.”
“Okay, come at me with all you’ve got.”
“You’ve got it, class rep.”
Sure enough, Alex Choi returns to the school and meets up none other than Maxi who was still guarding the front entrance of the school.
“Alex, you are back.”
“Hello there, senior.”
“Well, you look okay.”
Alex winces, which instantly gave Maxi an idea that he was involved in a brawl or something.
“You all right, man?”
“I am fine...I will live.”
“Listen, you took quite a beating so why don’t you head to the infirmary and I will let Chloe know you are coming.”
“Thanks, Maxi…Much appreciated.”
“My pleasure.”
Alex then heads off to the main building block number one and uses his student card to gain access to the elevator where he then takes it down to the level known as B6 where the infirmary was located. He felt fine when he was still in the elevator but still felt a little painful in his ribs.
“Ow…Man, that Hwoarang sure still packs quite a punch or should I say kick.”
Finally, Alex arrives the level of B6 and heads into the infirmary area itself where Chloe was doing some paperwork and filing documents.
“Um, Chloe?”
“Alex, how are you? You must be have ran into trouble.”
“Well, there’s no deceiving you, is there, Chloe?”
“Nope, there isn’t.”
“Well, I need a checkup.”
“Right this way then…Have a seat.”
“Thank you.”
Chloe then escorts Alex to one of the patient beds and Alex quickly lies himself down on it.
“Wait here…While I get the necessary medical equipment.”
“Of course.”
Alex lies back and tries to relax as it wasn’t long before Chloe returns with a first-aid medical kit.
“Right…Now tell him where does it hurt?”
“Oh, just some bruising…Nothing really serious.”
“Okay, take your shirt off and let me see.”
“Sure.”
Alex then takes his top off and Chloe puts on her silk nurse gloves to check his chest.
“Does it hurt here?”
“No, not really.”
“Well, maybe I will give you some relief cream to help soothe the pain.”
“Sure.”
“I will rub it a few times and tell him if it hurts.”
“Okay.”
Chloe then gets right to it and rubs the relief cream on his chest.
“Have you been working out?”
“In a way.”
“Well, I am glad you look fit, Alex.”
“Take that as a compliment, Chloe.”
“So, you like Sophie, yes?”
“Huh...What do you mean by that?”
“Well, it’s just simple observation from a girl’s point of view.”
“I don’t follow.”
“Well I remember it quite clearly.”
“When?”
“The time not too long again here in the infirmary when Sophie was looking at you and then blushed when you smiled.”
“You remember that well, Chloe.”
“Indeed.”
“Well, to tell you the truth...I think Sophie does like me but...”
“But?”
“But she hasn’t confess yet.”
“Oh, don’t be so naive...It will come around as these things take time when one would confess to another.”
“I get your point, Chloe.”
“Now...As your nurse and doctor. I am ordering you to rest here at least for half an hour.”
“But the show...”
“I know. I know. I have to do it too, you know.”
“My bad.”
“Besides...Some rest would help you keep your spirits up during the night.”
“I guess so.”
“I will be working so if you need me then holler.”
“Sure.”
Alex then lies back on his bed and rests as he looks forward to the dance show tonight where he alongside his 31 fellow classmates will wear rainbow coloured dance costumes and perform in the dull recreational building or better known as the auditorium. He wonders how would the show would go tonight as there would be many people watching from all the students to the teachers and a few special V.I.P.s.
“All those people watching...I guess I will do my best and work together with the others during the dance show.”
Eventually, night has fallen as the school auditorium was decorated with the dance show banners that were hang around the building and made in the past by the art club students. Wagg and Carreidas were outside as they see the auditorium was looking nice and superb and compliments on how it looks now than before.
“What do you think, Jolyon? This place looks good now then it is before, right?”
“Yeah, it certainly does, Laszlo.”
“What time is it now, Jolyon?”
“Let me see.”
Wagg then looks at his cell phone and sees that the time was now quarter past seven, which meant that there was only forty-five minutes left before the show actually starts.
“I think it is going to be a great night for us all.”
“Indeed it is.”
“Gentlemen.”
“Ah, Heihachi.”
Heihachi Mishima strolls towards them accompanied by none other than his animal bodyguard, the grizzly bear, Kuma.
“So, you looking forward to this?”
“I think so...Ain’t you, Kuma?”
(“Indeed!”) growled Kuma happily.
“Good.”
(“I feel bad, pops...Panda did not want to come.”)
“Oh, why is that?”
(“Because she wants to stand on guard at the boundary of the school.”)
“Oh, I see...Break your heart, didn’t it?” asked Heihachi sarcastically as Kuma waves his paws in a frantic expression saying it was nothing like that.
(“No, no, no! It was nothing like that.”)
“Okay, let’s go and grab a seat.”
“Need not worry, Heihachi...We have good seats at the back. Teacher seats.”
“I see.”
“They offer a great view and can see the people on the stage clearly...Right, Laszlo?”
“Indeed you are, Jolyon.”
“Yes, as I, Jolyon Wagg, would say that having a good view would make your day go whew.”
“Nice rhymes.”
“Thanks, Heihachi.”
“Well, I guess Kuma and I would go in.”
“We will see you then.”
Meanwhile, in the backstage, the students of class 10A were getting dressed in their rainbow colour dancing costumes. Girls get to wear a flexible colour vest top, black tights and short colour flared skirt with soft dancing shoes while boys wear a flexible colour polo shirt top and long trousers with hard dancing shoes. The colours of the costumes range all seven rainbow colours plus pink and each student likes a specific colour and had their ‘Doc’, Sean Gray along with fellow classmate Susan’s help to design them. Sean made the costumes with a flexible material that was similar to memory cloth, which is very flexible and allows the person to do stretching, running, fighting, swimming and basically able to move without tearing or ripping a hole in it. Samuel and Joey in their green and yellow dance costumes quickly call for their classmates to come together by forming the power circle.
“Okay, guys...It’s the power circle time.”
“The power circle?” asked Ernest and Adrian scratching their heads with the two of them in their pink and turquoise colour male dance costumes.
“You know, it’s um...Joey, would you care to explain it to them?”
“Sure, Sam...So, it’s where we all get together to make sure that we are all here and be prepared to perform 100%.”
“Oh, why didn’t you say so, Sam?”
“Yeah, I was completely speechless and had no idea what you said.”
“Well, glad to hear it...Everyone gather around!”
Sure enough, all the students including Samuel and Joey gathers around together in a large circle and Samuel does a roll call for the boys first as Joey would then make a roll call for the girls.
“Okay, roll call...James.”
“Here!”
“Daiman!”
“Present!”
“Ken.”
“Present, Sam.”
“John.”
“Here!”
“Alex?”
“Present and accounted for, Sam.”
“Listen, you feeling okay? Maxi and Chloe informed me of your run in with Hwoarang?”
“I am fine, Sam…I am absolutely fine.”
“Well, glad to hear it…But if you feel some pain or not up to it then don’t hesitate to let me know.”
“Sure.”
“Good…Now, let’s carry on then. Ernest.”
“Present, class rep!”
Joey meanwhile too does a roll call of the girls starting from Susan herself.
“Susan.”
“Present.”
“Jenny.”
“Present.”
“Catalina.”
“Present, Joey.”
“Sophie.”
“Present, Joey.”
“You good for tonight?”
“Absolutely.”
“Excellent…Michelle.”
“I am here.”
Five minutes later, Samuel and Joey have done their roll calls as all the students including themselves were all accounted for.
“Okay, everyone…Remember the moves we’ve practiced together and don’t panic. We will start with some slow and easy moves like jumping up and down.”
“Yes, if you are a little lost then look at the person next to you and see what they are doing.”
“So, is everyone clear?”
“We are!”
“Good…Joey?”
“Let us all remember how the dance show program goes…First, some warm ups followed by the rectangular formation…So, you all know your positions?”
“AYE!”
“Good…After that, it’s the stockade formation. Make sure we are doing just as well as we did in practice. Understand?”
“Understood, Joey.” replied Kathy sounding confident and determined.
“Got you.” answered Jenny with a wide smile on her face as she wears a purple costume.
“Good, girls…Boys?”
“I am pumped for action.”
“Nice to hear it, Andy.”
“Me too.” said Michael as he was wearing the blue costume.
“Me three.”
“Thanks, you three...Our three musketeers shall lead the rest by example.”
“The three musketeers?”
“Yes, Andy…You, Michael and Alex are the top scorers in academics of our year and work well together so that is what I have chosen to call the three of you.”
“Thank you, Sam…We could not have receive a nicer compliment.”
“Indeed it is, Sam.”
“Yes, we three are the three musketeers, yeah?”
“YEAH!”
“Okay, let’s get rep up…Make sure to do one thing very important when you perform in front of our audience.”
“What is that?” asked Daiman in his orange costume.
“That is to smile.”
“Right you are, Sam.”
“Indeed…Smile to the audience and then they will be happy.”
“Oh, that shouldn’t be too hard.”
“Remember to smile as it is a vital part to the dance.”
“We know, Joey…We know.”
“Just a reminder, Ivy.”
“Okay.”
“Well, when the time comes Sam and I will head out to the front of the stage and make the announcement while everyone gets into position.”
“What might that position be, Joey?”
“Good point, Sean…The rectangular formation, like soldiers or police officers on parade. Girl, boy, girl, boy formation.”
“Very well.”
“Understood, everyone?”
“UNDERSTOOD!”
“Good…Let’s get started then.”
The time was now quarter to eight as there was fifteen minutes to go before the actual show starts as all the seats in the auditorium were filled up with teachers and students with everyone getting themselves comfortable. Heihachi sat at the teacher’s area alongside Steve Fox, Jun Kazama, Julia Chang and others as Alcazar and Wagg joins them.
“Evening, all.”
“Evening, Ramon…Jolyon.”
“Hey, Tintin…How are you this evening, amigo mio?”
“I am fine, general.”
“You, Captain?”
“I am as great as a cucumber, general.”
“Take that as a good sign then.”
“Indeed.”
“Well, I must say I am looking forward to this evening.”
“So am I, Jolyon.”
“Say, where’s our deputy principal?” asked Haddock.
“Oh, he’s coming…He’s gone back to the office to do some paper work.”
“At this hour? Blistering Barncles, general…He’s going to miss the show.”
“Quit getting so tense, Haddock…He will come. I am certain of it.”
“I hope so.”
Sure enough, Carreidas arrives and he was holding a cup of coffee in his hand.
“Hello, everyone.”
“Laszlo.”
“Jolyon.”
“I am glad I made it just in time.”
“I am glad you did.”
“So did we.”
“Indeed.”
“Ah, here comes Cuthbert…He’s looking forward to this too.”
Professor Cuthbert Calculus comes wearing his trademark green gentleman’s suit and green coloured bowler hat with his dear black umbrella.
“Hello, Cuthbert.”
“Hello, everyone.”
“I am glad you made it.”
“Not really…I am just glad I made it.”
“Why don’t you have a seat, professor? The show is about to begin.”
“Thank you, Tintin.”
Calculus then sits down in the seat in between Tintin and Heihachi Mishima himself. Kuma eventually was asked by Heihachi and Wagg to station outside the building itself as part of the student rules, animals are not permitted in the building.
“Poor Kuma…Can’t come in as animals are prohibited in buildings.”
“It is a shame indeed.” replied Steve Fox as now he and Heihachi seems to be getting along much better.
“Well, Cuthbert…You looking forward to the show.”
“Perhaps…Still I am looking forward to the show anyhow.”
“That’s good to hear.”
Sure enough, Samuel Wong and Joey Houston make their way out from behind the stage dark red thick curtains with the lights in the theatre hall dimming from bright to almost complete dark with only two search lights that pinpoint where Samuel and Joey were standing. Both of them were eventually wearing their green and yellow male and female dance costumes and fitted with a microphone that was pinned to the collar and top of their torsos.
“Ladies and gentlemen…Welcome to tonight’s the ‘The Spirited 32 rainbow dancers show’.” announced Samuel as he passes the torch to Joey.
“We hope you enjoy it as we have a number of dances to perform before your very eyes…Now buckle up.”
“Let’s get the show on the road!”
Both Samuel and Joey head back behind the curtains as the opening music starts to play and the curtains begin to open revealing all of the class 10A students as everyone in the crowd gave a big clap of applause.
“Thank you, thank you…Let us begin with the rectangular formation dance. Formation!”
Immediately, all the boys and girls get into the rectangular formation dance with everyone lining up beside, in front and behind of each other very well. Samuel and Joey were the callers of the whole dance and they must direct their fellow classmates so the whole dance formation would be in sync.
“Okay, follow my lead…Let the dance begin.”
Everyone then follows both Samuel and Joey’s example as they jump up and down and raise their right arms eyes together and afterwards they spin themselves around with them raising their arms high so they won’t hit the person next to them by accident. Afterwards, Joey makes the call by calling out the next formation name.
“Stockade!”
Immediately, all the boys and girls then line up in a boy-girl alternate large circle as they spin anti-clockwise with their arms leaning on each other’s shoulders with girls’ arms on top of the boys’ and at the same time, the music starts to change into a more faster tempo. The girls lift up their legs but only had to do it at the fourth beat of a bar. They had to listen to it accurately otherwise it won’t match the music itself. The girls also had to do it at either at the exact same time or do it one at a time but all the girls were well trained and did it in a spectacular style. The audience gives a small but loud clap of their good team work and dance styles.
“Say, these students really know how to work together, Ramon.”
“Indeed, Heihachi…Why do you think they are known as the best class of the year 10 peer group?”
“You need not to tell me twice.”
“Bravo, bravo!”
Wagg himself was downright happy and overjoyed with the students of class 10A performing so well.
“Look, the music has changed again.”
“Yes, the tempo is starting to getting slower.”
“I know.”
“Hey, Tintin.”
“Yes, Captain?”
“I much prefer this then…”
“Then what?”
“Then listening to that Bianca Castifiore and her loud and deadly opera cries.”
“I can imagine.”
“Well, I envy you, Haddock.”
“Thank you, Laszlo.”
“I hope the rest of the students are finding this to be very enjoyable, Ramon.”
“I am sure they are, Laszlo.”
Ling Xiaoyu was downright enjoying the dance performance itself but she however shows prejudice and jealousy of the girls in the class 10A were more beautiful and taller than she was. Alisa however finds the girls all to be quite elegant and beautiful as ever.
“Gee…Those girls are more beautiful than we are, Alisa.”
“Come on, Xiaoyu…There’s no need to get jealous.”
“I am not!” uttered Xiaoyu sounding firmly.
“But you sound like it.”
“I am not, Alisa.”
“Hey, you two…Please keep your voices down so we can watch the show.”
“Oh, sorry about that, Patroklos.”
“Yes, our apologies.”
“Please…Call me Patrick, won’t you?”
“Uh, okay.”
“Sure.”
“Hey, Xiao.”
“Yes, Miharu?”
“You like the show?”
“It’s overrated, Miharu.”
“I think so, too.”
“Psst…Miharu.”
“Yes, Natsu?”
“They sure perform well.”
“Indeed, Natsu…Indeed they do.”
“I was thinking, Asuka.”
“What are you thinking about?” asked Asuka always annoyed of Lili’s remarks and annotations.
“I was thinking maybe we could…”
“We could what? Don’t look at me, Lili.”
“I was thinking maybe our class could you know…Form a dance group, too.”
“A dance group?!”
“SSSHHH!”
“Hey, quiet down.”
“A dance group?” asked Asuka now keeping her voice down so it won’t disturb their fellow classmates and other students from watching as they sat close to where the stage was. “What are you babbling about, Lili?”
“I thought we will make our class popularity a bit higher.”
“Us? A dance group? Don’t make me laugh. I…Can’t…Dance.”
“Don’t get all piggy with me…You will learn.”
“Oh, shut it.”
“Ahem.”
“What?!”
Asuka and Lili turns to find not Patroklos standing before them but Hilde herself towering over them with her arms put to her hips looking quite displeased.
“Oh, sorry…It’s you, senior.”
“Senior Hilde.”
“Well, you two sure are troublemakers…See me after the show. Patrick.”
“Yes.”
“Make sure that they do see me.”
“Understood, senior.”
“Very well.”
Hilde walks off looking quite serious as both Asuka and Lili sighs in disgust as they then look at each other with a stern and rivalry-like look.
“Serves you right.”
“Same to you.”
Eventually, the class 10A dancers perform some amazing dance formations from a girl-boy-girl-boy kickline, a triangle, to the pyramid itself, which was classified as one of the hardest because they have trust in each other to do so. Afterwards, they did the one-on-one dancing duel as two students, a boy and a girl does a tango while the rest hang back in a straight line clapping their hands four times syncing to four beats to a bar and eventually the music itself had also change into a more tango-like as well. The two performers were Anna O’Connor in a blue costume and Chris Peasley in an orange costume as they dance with each other like true professional dancers and Samuel gets something out of his pocket and throws it Chris who catches it with his teeth with amazing accuracy.
“Nice one, Chris.” muttered John with a smile.
Chris and Anna dance around and around as all does in the audience gave them an encouraging round of applause.
“They sure perform well, Kathy.” said Kevin as he wore a pink male costume.
“Indeed they do, Kevin.” replied Kathy where she wore a turquoise costume dress.
“Okay, change!”
Samuel’s announcement gives the cue for both Chris and Anna to retreat back in line as another two boy and girl comes out to carry on with the dance. One was Ken Brodie himself and his partner was none other than his love interest, Catalina Mastrogiorgio herself.
“You look beautiful, Cat.”
“Well, I can say you are very handsome, Ken.”
“Thanks.”
Catalina was in her pink dance costume and Ken was in his dashing green costume. Both dance a little different that then Chris and Anna did before but nonetheless the audience loved it. Heihachi at his seat was downright pleased and delighted of his future class students’ performance.
“They are indeed the best.”
“You are a lucky man, Hei.”
“Thanks, Steve.”
“I am wondering about something…”
“Something what?”
“Curious.”
“What kind of a curious thing?”
“Well, while we are all here and Z.W.E.I. and his police officers standing guard at the boundaries of the school. Wouldn’t Paul or Hwoarang take this chance to…”
“Perhaps…But it is unlikely.”
“That’s right…They would fight with each other rather than bother with us.”
“Precisely…They know attacking us is out of the question so why don’t they stick to their little fun infighting?”
“Indeed.”
Heihachi and Steve watches as Sophie in blue dance costume and Andy and red dance costume takes to the ring as all the juniors immediately cheers their senior on.
“Go, senior! Go!”
“Show them what balls you have! My boy!” cheered Mitsurugi happily.
“Be the man!” added Maxi happily.
Andy and Sophie bows to each other in respect as they then hold each other by the hands.
“So, ready to dance, Sophie?”
“I am ready when you are.”
“Gee…You certainly do look like ‘Master’ in a way.”
“In what way?” asked Sophie sounding both collected and curious.
“Your eyes…They look almost like hers.”
“Anything else?”
“Well, your personality.”
“Right…Well, less talk and get started then.”
“Very well…Let’s go.”
The two begin to dance the moment the music starts and this time it was a bit more faster and kind of had a pop theme to it. Everyone in the audience clapped hard as they were all like before happy and overjoyed with their performance.
“Sophie is surely a true dancer.”
“She is, Heihachi.”
“My granddaughter.”
Heihachi was touched to see how beautiful Sophie looks and vow to do everything he could to support her.
“I will no matter what keep an eye on her…Protect her and be there for her.”
“That’s the new look on you, Heihachi.”
“Well, Steve…Times have changed. I won’t just pursue for power but for something much greater and better.”
“I like to hear that.”
About five minutes later, Sophie and Andy retreat back into the line as Alex Choi himself in a purple dance costume decides to take to the ring and the music changes into a more romance-like theme. The moment Alex steps out all the girls that were in the so-called: ‘Alex Choi fan club’ cheered very loudly and putting their hands together.
“ALEX CHOI! ALEX CHOI!”
“WE LOVE YOU!”
One of the girls in the crowd by the name of Miki Hoshii, she was a girl student of class 10D with her homeroom teacher Julia Chang. She was a girl with a very laid-back attitude and was rivals to Sophie, Shirley, Asuka and Lili possibility due to their love for Alex himself. She has a big huge crush on him and vow to have him all to herself. She incidentally throws a huge bouquet of flowers onto the stage, which landed just a few yards beside Alex’s left foot.
“What the…”
“Alex!”
“Um…Thanks, Miki.”
“I love you! Please say you love me!”
“Hey, Miki! Sit down! You are blocking the view!”
“Oh, shut it, Asuka dumbhead!”
“Says you!”
“Says me!”
“Hey, you two! That is enough!”
“Oh, Miss. Kazama.”
Jun Kazama stood before the girls and was quite angry and upset with her putting her arms beside her hips looking down upon them like an angry mother furious with bad behaving children.
“Asuka…You need to learn when to behave yourself.”
“Yes, aunt.”
“Good…You will see me after the show.”
“Right, aunt.”
“You too, Miki.”
“Yes, ma’am.” replied Miki sounding sad and sorrow as the dance show continues with Alex dancing quite well with his partner, Shirley Nguyen in her orange costume. Alex and Shirley have a mutual and friendly like with one another and gets along like ordinary classmate and friends.
“You dance very well, Alex…Like a true professional.”
“Thanks, Shirley…I have to compliment on your skills as well.”
“I see…That makes two of us.”
The dance show continues to its grand finale as the students finish the dance in a specitcular stance, which makes everyone in the hall a big applause.
Meanwhile, over on the other side of the bridge, Paul Phoenix and his band of ‘G.F.H’ bikers are prepared to have some of their own fun by launching a drive-by on one of the Hwoarang’s assets in the Chinatown area. However, they know which ones not to target as some of the assets themselves belong to Paul’s good buddy, Marshall Law.
“Okay, everyone…Are we good to go?”
“Yes, Paul…The boys are ready.”
“Indeed, Bryan…Make sure we have a considerable defense back here as well…You never know.”
“I know.”
“You want to know something.”
“What?”
“Kazuya just send me an email.”
“An email?”
“Yes, Lee is currently working back at his casino as a dealer.”
“For what? A debt or something.”
“I cannot say…But I know Lee likes to gamble and I am sure he would like to there.”
“Of course…He’s not going to be concern with him serving under his half-brother now, right?”
“Who knows.”
“Paul, amigo.”
“Miguel, you ready?”
“Yeah, the chicos are locked and loaded. Ready to move out on your command.”
“Good…Give the order for the guys to mount their bikes.”
“Si.”
Miguel then gives the order as all the bikers go mount their bikes as Craig and King check their weapons as it was none other than bikers’ special or much prefer weapon, the sawn-off shotgun.
“So, you check your weapon, buddy?”
“Grrrr.” (I did, Craig!)
“Good…Let’s mount on our bikes and go kick some ass.
“Grrr.” (Indeed!)
“Okay, lads…You with me?!”
“YEAH!”
“Then let’s go! Let’s go and say hi to our rival and esteem friend, Hwoarang!”
“AYE!”
“Move out! Stay in formation, everyone!”
Paul then checks his SPAZ-12 shotgun and then starts up his special Hexer bike and drives off with his lieutenants and then followed by the rest of his fellow bikers.
“Hwoarang, you are going to get it.” said Paul with a venomous smile on his face. “We are going to show you that we dogs are better that you pitiful pack of wolves.”
Eventually, Paul and his band of bikers make off from their ‘Phoenix Pub’ and out onto William Street and make their way straight to Chinatown. At that moment, at one of the restaurant’s in Chinatown that was on Harbour Street, Hwoarang and a couple of his men were having some good Thai food. Hwoarang often likes both Thai and Korean food but he much prefers having Korean food.
“Boys, you like?”
“Indeed, boss.”
“Yeah, Thai food is great.”
“Delicious.”
“Glad you all like it.”
“So, boss…What’s the plan for tomorrow?”
“Nothing yet…But remember we have something important to do tonight?”
“What might that be?”
“Tonight at Midnight…We have some shipment of fish to take care of. Remember?”
“Of course…I remember you told us that, boss.”
“Well, nice to see that some of my guys ain’t absent minded after all.”
“Good…We still have some time to kill. Let’s feast and then get to work. Marshall Law is waiting for us there at Pyrmont.”
“Right.”
As Hwoarang and his gang enjoy the downtime, Paul and his bikers roar along Harbour Street as they all took an illegal turn from George Street itself with numerous motorists giving them the big loud car honks when Paul and his band of bikers stops and attempts to make an illegal right turn at the lights. Eventually, the motorists themselves then get into complaining and cranky and barks insults at them.
“Hey, move already!”
“Can’t you see the sign?!”
“It’s no right turn, buddy!”
All Paul had to do to get them off his back was to fire his weapon and loudly announced his name. The motorists and eventually the pedestrians nearby all cower the moment Paul fired his shotgun.
“I am Paul ‘Mad Dog’ Phoenix! Who wants a bite in the ass?!!”
At that moment, all the motorists and pedestrians remain silent and let the incident slide as Paul and his biker gang proceeds onwards to their destination. Eventually, they stopped right outside the restaurant where Hwoarang and his gang were. Paul eventually and in a way politely introduces himself to Hwoarang before he gets down and dirty.
“HEY!”
Hwoarang at first ignores it but when Paul fired his shotgun again this time it clearly got his attention.
“Hey, Hwoarang! What’s popping?”
“YOU!”
“Nothing personal here!”
“Hey, Paul! Do you realize that you are on my turf?!”
“Your turf? Oh, your turf? I am sorry! I don’t see your name written on it, pal!”
“Whatever! My men and I are going to make mincemeat of you!”
“Whoa! Easy there, big bad wolf…I have a question to ask you thought.”
“Okay, what might that question be?” asked Hwoarang sounding impatient and edgy.
“You like Swiss cheese?”
“Swiss cheese? Uh oh…”
“BLAST THEM!”
At once, Paul and his biker gang laid down heavy fire upon Hwoarang and his gang members who all have manage to take cover behind wall columns and overturn tables.
“Grrr…We are outmatched and outgunned.”
“Boss, what can we do?”
“Nothing at the moment!”
“Bryan…Use your big daddy to teach them a lesson.”
“The pleasure is all mine, Paul.”
Bryan literally has another weapon hoisted at the back of his Zombie freeway motorbike. Incidentally, it is his favourite weapon, the M249, a light-weight but a piece of deadly artillery.
“Ha ha ha…I am going to make those wolves wet their pants.”
“Come on, Bryan…Show them what big balls you have!”
“You spoke like a true Cuban leader, Miguel.”
“Well, I am from Spain, Bryan…Eventually, the Cubans are my good cousins.”
“Right.”
“Take them, Bryan!”
“Right…Hwoarang, say cheese!”
Sure enough, Bryan takes aim with his M249 at the already shot up and demolished restaurant as Hwoarang peeks up to have a look.
“Why have they…Uh oh.”
Hwoarang eventually catches sight of Bryan Fury holding a piece of heavy military hardware.
“HEY! That’s a bit over the line, isn’t it?”
“Not really!”
“Boys, duck down!”
“HA HA HA HA! I am going to blast you all to pieces!”
Bryan blasts the whole place apart with his M249 and when he ran out of ammo he lowers his weapon.
“Okay, Paul…Think that is enough?”
“I think so.”
“Come on, let’s go and hit the parliament house and let me shake up some things.”
“Right with you, Paul.”
“Okay, let’s go, men! To Parliament house!”
“AYE!”
Therefore, Paul and his bikers head off down Harbour Street as they intent to take the route from Day Street to Bathurst Street. Once they were all gone, Hwoarang stands up and slaps his face as his gang members dash straight for the street and draw their pistols and fires.
“SCUMS!”
“DIRTY DOGS!”
Hwoarang joins them and literally barks at them to cease their firing.
“Stop it! Stop it! YOU FOOLS! They are out of range! Stop wasting your bullets!”
“Sorry, boss.”
“Yeah, how dare they did that to us?!”
“Well, is anyone hurt?”
“No, boss.”
“We are still very much alive.”
“Yeah. Right.”
“And the restaurant staff members?”
“Well…”
“Check them…They are working for me and I have a right to know that they are okay!”
“Right away, boss!”
Hwoarang’s men then checks on the restaurant staff members as amazingly they were not harmed nor physically hurt. They were however emotional hurt and outraged of the damage done by Paul Phoenix and his ‘G.F.H’ biker gang.
“Damn those bikers!”
“DAMN! Look at what they have done to our place!”
Hwoarang eventually goes and literally comforts the restaurant owners in a rare display of kindness.
“It’s going to be all right.”
“Thanks, Mr. Hwoarang.”
“Since you have already paid your protection then my guys and I will help and I will also call in the builders.”
“Thank you…Thank you, Mr. Hwoarang.”
“We appreciated it.”
Hwoarang then gets his cell phone out and calls his guys that were hanging out in the Darling Harbor area.
“Boys…I need you guys to come and secured the Thai restaurant on Harbour Street.”
“Got it, boss…E.T.A in ten minutes.”
“Good…We will wait until you arrive.”
“Aye.”
Hwoarang then disconnects the call and dials the builders for commercial businesses known as ‘Builder Commercial Corp’ as the business itself was currently owned by Hwoarang himself.
“Hello…Builder Commercial Corp. This is Hwoarang.”
“How can we help, Mr. Hwoarang?”
“One of our businesses has been shot up and it is badly damage.”
“Which restaurant is that, Mr. Hwoarang?”
“The Thai restaurant on Harbour Street.”
“Very well, Mr. Hwoarang…But we will get right on it but I am afraid the builders may not get in until early tomorrow.”
“When?”
“Around 10 a.m.”
“Very well…Call them.”
“Right away, Mr. Hwoarang.”
“Thank you.”
Hwoarang then disconnects the call and puts his cell phone back in his pocket.
“Okay, we shall wait for our relief guys from Darling Harbour.”
“And after that, boss?”
“We shall go to the fish market and do the thing with Marshall Law.”
“Understood.”
Hwoarang then looks up at the dark sky and at the northern direction where Milson’s Point and the other northern suburbs were located.
“Alex Choi…I will have my revenge on you! I swear it.” grunted Hwoarang angrily as he still had a score to settle with his enemy, Alex Choi.
Meanwhile, back at the school of Milson’s Point Grammar Academy, the dance show was drawing to its conclusion as all the members of the audience gave the wonderful class 10A students a big round applause.
“Thank you, thank you.”
Carreidas himself goes up to the stage with a microphone in his hand as he personally announces his thanks for class 10A’s wonderful and outstanding dance show.
“Thank you, class 10A…Now that was an excellent performance. We hope another time you can perform another one similar of what you did today! Now, students…You may all head off to your dormitories and those who wish to go home for the weekend please see myself at the exit where I will sign you out…Thank you.”
Therefore, the dance show of class 10A was over as the students slowly depart from the stage and go straight to the backstage to get undress and redress in their school uniforms. The boys were changing in the boys changing room with them all discussing and talking to each other reflecting on the outcome of the whole show.
“Evidentially, I think I did quite well.”
“Sure you did, Andy…You were great.”
“Thanks, Mike.” replied Andy as he buttons up his school shirt.
“I think everyone of us did do to the best of their ability.”
“Indeed you are right, Sean.” replied Ross nodding his head in agreement.
“I think it went over the top…Right, guys?”
“Yes, Ernest…It most certainly did.” answered Andy as he finishes buttoning up his school shirt.
“Yeah, I think we did well.”
“Thanks for the moral support, Adrian.”
“Well, my big congratulations to all of you…Well done.”
“Thanks, Sam.”
“Yeah, it was nothing.” replied John rubbing his arms together.
“I say we all did wonderful…Wouldn’t you agree with me, Kev?”
“I agree with Ken.” replied Kevin. “We all perform sensationally.”
“That’s right…So, what do you say we all go out and have some chow together at Andy’s place tomorrow night?”
“YEAH!”
“Okay, when would you all like to be there? I will need help to prepare and someone to help wash the dishes.”
“Don’t worry, Andy…We will all help. Won’t we, guys?”
“Yeah.”
“No sweat.”
“That’s good.”
“So, what time?”
“Half past six tomorrow…I will come up with something that would make you wish you would never go anywhere else to eat.”
“Well, I certainly like to see that.” muttered Daiman. “I certainly love to see it.”
“Oh, you will, Daiman…Mark my words.”
“You are on.”
“Come on, let’s get dressed and head back to our dorm rooms. I think we can all deserved a good night’s rest after some fine hard work.”
“Gee…I wonder how are the girls doing?” asked Ernest scratching the back of his head.
“I don’t know…They probably are thinking similar things like us.”
“You sure about that, Chris?”
“Without a doubt.”
“Okay, I get your point.”
Meanwhile, at the girls’ changing room, they were all too like the boys discussing of how the show went tonight and they were all feeling quite happy and proud of themselves.
“Boy, I am sure the audience were quite taken in by our performance.”
“You can say that again, Kathy.” replied Jenny, “I saw a lot of the boys from our lower years continually staring at our legs.”
“That means they really have the hots for us, right?”
“I think you are right, Shirley.”
“Thanks, Anna.”
“So, girls…Do any of you have plans for the weekend?” asked Patricia looking around at her female classmates and friends.
“Well, not really.”
“You don’t, Anna?”
“I will just do some practice at the gym.”
“Veronica?”
“The same as Anna.”
“Right.”
“Hey, Kathy.”
“Yes, Joey?”
“What about you? You planning to spend a good weekend with Kevin?”
“I think I should…At least for the whole of Sunday.”
“Well, I wish you luck.”
“Thanks…What about you?”
“Me? Well, I think I might ask Sam to take me out on a date.”
“Really?”
Nearly all the girls were astonished and flabbergasted all except for Sophie who was getting dressed back into her school uniform. Once she had done that she shakes her hair from side to side to clean it up and after that she puts on her shoes.
“Well…Later, everyone.”
“Sophie, you leaving?”
“Yes, Shirley…I think I will go and get some rest.”
“Well, care to spend some time with me tomorrow?”
“Um…”
“Well, maybe on Sunday then?”
“Sunday?”
“Yes…I will ask Simon and he and I will go out to the CBD and have some fun.”
“Well, I hope things work out for you.”
“Care to join?”
“Sure.”
“Patricia?”
“Perhaps…But I will have think about it.”
“Okay.”
“Later, everyone.”
“Later, Sophie.”
“Hey, Sophie…You perform well tonight.”
“Thanks, Joey…Goodnight.”
“Night.”
Sophie heads out as the other girls wonder why Sophie wasn’t always so chatty.
“Wonder why Sophie aren’t always so chatty?”
“Beats me, Susan.”
“You don’t know, Shirley?”
“Well…No.”
“Come on, the two of you share a room together so you both should know each other quite well.”
“Yes, Pat…now come to think of it…Every time I ask Sophie about her past she doesn’t like to talk about it.”
“Oh, okay.”
“Anyway…” began Shirley as she yawns loudly and stretches out her arms widely. “I am tired as ever…I am going to bed.”
“Okay…Night, Shirley.”
“Night.”
Shirley heads out of the dressing room as Joey informs all the other girls that it was time for them all to head back to their dormitories.
Meanwhile, Paul and Bryan heads straight to Sydney Kingsford International Airport as they left Miguel, Craig and King back at parliament house on Macquarie Street to rough up some politicians on supporting their new campaign to build more biker parking and tyre stores. The two travels along the freeway and hops onto the General Holmes Drive before stopping at the lights intersection that leads to the Sydney Domestic Airport.
“Say, Paul…You think Miguel and the guys could handle the tough talk?”
“I am sure…The politicians will do things my way. You hear me, Bryan? My way.”
“I hear you, buddy.”
“Because if they don’t then I will either tear them to shreds or bite them in the ass. Either way is disgusting for me and most painful for them.”
“I see.”
“Say, Bryan…Did you like the workout fun we had with Hwoarang?”
“Overrated, buddy.”
“Yeah…I reckon we should do this every month.”
“Right.”
“NO! Every fortnight…Rough him up and make him and his pack of wolves cower in fear before us.”
“Indeed…I like your brutal style of method, Paul.”
“I knew you would…You know it is funny that we both were once feared rivals and then…”
“And then we became best buds…It is most certainly ironic.”
“Yeah…Hey, want to race and punch the lights when they are green?”
“Of course.”
Paul then looks at his cell phone and looks at the time displayed on his LCD screen.
“Damn…His flight landed fifteen minutes ago.”
“Well, we can still get there and getting through customs would take some time.”
“Indeed…Not to mention the food inspection and all. Darn, I hate to see his angry face when we are late.”
“Whose angry face, Paul?”
“What? You don’t know?”
“Of course not…All you said was we have to pick up a V.I.P. at the International airport stat.”
“Right…I should have brief you in full detail.”
Sure enough, the lights change from red to green and Paul along with his best buddy Bryan roars forward along the road making a straight thick tire mark behind.
“So, who are we picking up?”
“You will see.”
“Oh, it’s a surprise then.”
“Right, a surprise.”
Suddenly, Paul gets a SMS on his cell phone as he checks it while driving his Hexer motorbike.
“Got another message!”
“Right, is it from your V.I.P.?”
“Yeah.”
“What does it say?”
“Let’s stop here for a while…Driving and handling a cell phone is not a good idea.”
“I hear you, buddy.”
Paul and Bryan therefore pulls over to the side of the road and Paul reads the SMS message.
“Get me a bike.”
“That’s all it says?”
“Yep.”
“So, we get a rented bike or…”
“Or…I will do it my way.”
“Of course…Let’s go then.”
Paul and Bryan then proceeds onwards down the road towards Airport Drive and to their destination, Sydney Kingsford International Airport.
“This is it.”
“Yes…Let’s head down to the Arrivals area then.”
“Indeed.”
Both of them proceed down the Arrivals area and goes straight into the car park after Paul grabs the ticket from the ticket booth.
“Let’s find a parking spot and dash to the Arrival gates.”
“I agree…I will go and get a rented bike.”
“Yes, you do that…We will meet at the ticket paying machine.”
“Very well, Paul.”
Therefore, Paul heads straight for the Arrivals terminal while Bryan goes to the place to rent vehicles and hopefully they are bikes that can be rented. Paul proceeds to the Arrivals gate where he sees Gate A and B and wonders which one would his V.I.P. come out from.
“Okay, here’s a dilemma…A or B?”
Eventually, Paul sees his V.I.P as he walks straight towards him wearing a purple tuxedo, black fedora hat and carries a black briefcase.
“Well, it is you, Kazuya.”
“Yes, thanks for coming right on time, Paul.”
“Well, I hate for you to wait for me…Besides I trust you enjoy your flight?”
“It was swell…Being in business class and all.”
“Oh, you took…”
“Yes, China Airlines…Not very subtle.”
“I see…So, any word from our boss?”
“Not really…He’s got his own problem at the moment.”
“Oh, like what?”
“Having suspicions of Nina Williams.”
“Nina…I saw her a few days ago and now the C.E.O of Mishima Zaibatsu. She works for him.”
“Yes…But after learning from a friend of his that Nina maybe plotting against him my friend plans to keep her in check.”
“Good…That’s good.”
“Come on, show me to my new place.”
“With pleasure, Kazuya…Oh, would you like me to get that for…”
“No thanks…I can manage.”
“Right…So, how’s Lee?”
“Lee Chaolan…Enjoying himself back at my casino and having the ‘excellent’ time of his life.”
“I am happy for him…How about Anna?”
“Well, she will be here in a few days…She’s gone over to Russia.”
“Russia? What for?”
“A special mission.”
“I see…Need to know, right?”
“Yes.”
The two head out of the terminal and head straight for the public car park.
“So, what news down here?”
“Not much…We pushed back Hwoarang’s gang and our morale is now high.”
“Great…Keep it up.”
“Thank you, Kazuya.”
“So, have you found a bike for me?”
“We certainly do. Bryan is waiting for us back at the ticket machines.”
“Right.”
Sure enough, both Paul and Kazuya head to the ticket machines where Bryan was waiting for them.
“Bryan Fury.”
“Kazuya…Welcome to Sydney.”
“Yes, indeed it is.”
Kazuya and Bryan shake hands with one another.
“I trust you had a good flight from Macau?”
“Indeed I did…Riding Air China in the Business class area.”
“Of course.”
“So, Bryan.”
“Yes, Paul?”
“Have you found Kazuya a bike?”
“Indeed…A FCR-900 motorcycle. One of the top notch racing bikes fitted with a nitro engine.”
“My, my…You are a good man, Bryan.”
“Thanks, Kazuya.”
“So, where are we going?”
“To Watsons Bay…I think our mansion there will be just the place for you.”
“Thank you, Paul.”
“Gee, Paul…How long have we not been to that place?”
“Well, I think that it’s been a year or so since I went there so the place would be a little um…”
“Dirty?”
“Dusty, Bryan…That was the word that I was going to use.”
“Well, I am sure that place will be just fine.”
“I don’t mind some hard work myself…After all, I did help buy the place.”
“You would, Kazuya?”
“Of course, Paul…Now shall we go?”
“Indeed.”
Eventually, Kazuya, Paul and Bryan mounted their bikes as Kazuya straps his suitcase to the back of his bike and afterwards he takes out his pair of dashing sunglasses from his jacket pocket.
“Okay…Let’s hit the road.”
“Indeed.”
“Yeah.”
The three starts up their bikes and roars out of the airport public car park and out onto the main road of Airport Drive.
“Well, Sophie…My beautiful daughter. Be prepared for a visit from your old man.” Kazuya smirks evilly as he is looking forward to seeing his legitimate daughter face to face.
